Odona.ai sets no cookies on this website, runs no advertising trackers, and sells nothing to anyone. Where we do hold personal data — if you subscribe to the newsletter, create an account, or write to us — this page says exactly what, why, and for how long.
Who is responsible
Inflexion-AI, 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France, is the company behind Odona.ai and the data controller for the processing described here. For any question about your data, or to exercise any right below, use the contact form or write to the address on the legal notice.
Visiting this website
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site performs and which pages people read. It is cookieless: it sets no cookie, assigns you no identifier, and cannot follow you to other websites. It records aggregate measurements only — page address, referring site, country, browser and device type, and how quickly the page rendered.
Because that data cannot identify you, we do not ask for consent to collect it, and there is no cookie banner on this site. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works and whether anyone reads it (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
This site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address in transit to deliver pages and to block attacks. It is not stored by us and we cannot browse it.
Subscribing to the newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address and the dates you subscribed, confirmed and (if you do) unsubscribed. That is personal data, and we treat it as such.
- Why: to send you the weekly briefing you asked for. Nothing else. We do not profile you, and we do not send you anything you did not request.
- Lawful basis: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), confirmed by the double opt-in email — a subscription is not active until you click that link.
- Who else sees it: Brevo, a French email provider acting on our instructions, which delivers the email and tells us about bounces and unsubscribes.
- How long: until you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we do not email you again by mistake. Addresses that never confirm are removed.
- Leaving: every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need an account.
Contacting us
If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you chose, your message and the language of the page you sent it from.
- Why: to answer you. We do not use it for marketing, and writing to us does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
- Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)); where your question concerns something you bought, the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- Who else sees it: Render, which hosts the server that receives the form; Brevo, which delivers the message to us; and Google, which hosts our mailbox (Google Workspace). Google may process it in the United States, under its certification to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- How long: three years after our last exchange, then deleted. Messages are kept only in our mailbox, not in the Odona.ai application.
Creating an account
Accounts hold a username, a hashed password (we never store the password itself and cannot read it), your display preferences, and which page referred you to us. We do not ask for your email address to create an account, and we do not have it unless you separately subscribe to the newsletter.
Lawful basis: performance of the service you asked us to provide (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). The application is hosted on Render in the European Union, with data stored in Frankfurt. A session cookie keeps you signed in; it is strictly necessary and is not used for tracking.
What we never do
- No advertising or social-media trackers, on any page.
- No selling, renting or sharing of your data for anyone else's marketing.
- No cross-site profiling, and no attempt to identify you across devices.
- No automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — that does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
Send your request through the contact form, or by post to the address on the legal notice, and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your national data protection authority — in France, the CNIL.
Changes
If this page changes materially we will update the date above. Odona.ai is a research and discovery tool: it provides no personalised investment advice and manages no assets on anyone's behalf.
